Dr. Angelie Zamora

Dr. Angelie Zamora is a renowned family dentist in Flower Mound, Texas, who enhances smiles and optimizes oral health as part of the team at Smiles Family Dental.

Dr. Zamora graduated from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas, and earned her dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry (now the Texas A&M College of Dentistry) in Dallas. She further enhanced her knowledge and skill set with a comprehensive implant residency program in Birmingham, Alabama, and a two-year general practice residency and an IV sedation certification at Louisiana State University Health School of Dentistry in New Orleans.

Dr. Zamora is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association®, the American Academy of Clear Aligners and the Texas Dental Association. She has been a keynote speaker at the Invisalign® world summit, and she is one of the few dentists in the country qualified to use Digital Smile Design® to help her patients design smiles that are perfectly suited to all aspects of their facial features.

Prior to getting her US degree certifications, Dr. Shrestha completed extensive education and clinical experience abroad.

Passionate about providing personalized care, Dr. Shrestha understands the importance of building trusting relationships with patients. She takes the time to listen attentively to their concerns, ensuring that each patient feels comfortable and valued throughout their dental journey.

Driven by a commitment to lifelong learning, Dr. Shrestha actively participates in continuing education courses and dental conferences. She is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and skills to stay abreast of emerging trends and techniques in the field of dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shrestha enjoys staying active in the community and participating in volunteer initiatives. Dr. Kari Blankenship

DDS

Dr. Kari Blankenship is an accomplished dentist at Smiles Family Dental in Frisco, Texas. With more than 13 years of clinical experience, she combines advanced training, artistic skill, and a lifelong commitment to learning to provide exceptional care.

Dr. Blankenship earned two bachelor’s degrees—a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Philosophy—from Hunter College in New York City. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Following dental school, Dr. Blankenship completed a general dentistry residency at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Administration Hospital, where her training emphasized oral surgery and periodontics. She also completed clinical rotations at MD Anderson Cancer Center, gaining valuable experience caring for medically complex patients.

Dedicated to continuing education, Dr. Blankenship has pursued advanced implant training through Nobel Biocare and the renowned Pikos Institute. Her approach combines surgical precision, cosmetic artistry, and genuine compassion to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
